LGV C+E – up to 44 tonnes
After passing LGV C we offer a choice of LGV C+E training vehicles. Your examiner will allow you to use either an Articulated or Drawbar Combination vehicle. All our LGV C vehicles are fitted with a Drawbar towing hitch.
We offer a choice of LGV C+E training vehicles. Our Drawbars, available at any of our LGV training locations, are easy to position, stable and comfortable and are particularly easy to reverse as they are Close Coupled which means the road wheels are positioned in the middle of the trailer.
Drivers require less training on a Drawbar than an articulated vehicle – the choice is yours.
Wallace Drawbar Combination Vehicles - Our Close Coupled Drawbars are easy to position and particularly easy to reverse as the axle wheels are half way along the trailer. Progress quickly from C to C+E needing only a few hours using the same vehicle that you're familiar with (as you just passed LGV C with it) but this time with a trailer attached. And after passing C+E take a few hours Development Practice on our Articulated Vehicle (it's cheaper to get C+E that way, not having to worry about trying to drive this more complicated vehicle to test standard). The choice is yours.
