Welcome Skills was set up to fulfil a need resulting from severe skills shortages in the hospitality industry. They deliver apprenticeship training to a wide range of high end hotels and restaurants nationally as well as Asian establishments. Welcome Skills identify 'problem' areas of high unemployment and disaffected young people and provide opportunities in hospitality for young people. They are connected to the vast network of employers working in partnership with Welcome Skills. This has benefitted many young people across the country.
