This course is for students aged 16-18 year olds who want to learn skills for a range of careers in construction.
You will learn practical skills in brickwork, carpentry, joinery, plumbing, electrical installation and construction drawing.
The course has been designed to give you a basic awareness of working in construction and a good understanding of health and safety in construction. It focuses on practical work, although there will also be sessions in the classroom. You will learn about timber products, joinery and plumbing skills, health and safety and welfare, painting skills, construction drawing and electrical installation.
You will also study functional skills in English and maths.

None. You will have an interview and assessment.
