General English (Main-school face to face)
Our standard General English language course allows you to improve all areas of your English language: grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, pronunciation, reading and writing.
General English is available as a standard course (24 lessons per week/20 hours per week) or as an intensive course (28 lessons per week/ 23 hours and 20 minutes per week).
For an intensive course you can add from our Options courses which include Communication Skills, Grammar and Writing, Pronunciation, IELTS Preparation, Cambridge Exam Preparation, Medical English, Creativity Mindfulness and Wellbeing and Football Academy (please note there is a £105 supplement for the Football Academy option). You can select from these Options courses in the booking menu.

- Learn real English using the latest course books and materials.
- Learn, review and put into practice new language every day.
- Be able to develop your communication skills by working with other students doing activities such as role-plays, pair work and group discussions.
- Explore new techniques to help you improve your listening and reading.
- Practise and improve your writing skills by analysing and producing documents such as emails, formal and informal letters and reports.
- Have regular tutorials with your teacher to discuss your progress.
- Get up to 2 hours of homework each evening.
Training Course Content
Learn real, practical English using the latest coursebooks and other materials. Students learn new language every lesson and how to use it appropriately. The second lesson of the day focuses on skills, with an emphasis on developing communicative effectiveness. The third lesson provides an opportunity to further practise and review language from the morning's lessons, incorporating project work, online research and presentations, allowing students to communicate in language appropriate to many different situations.
