Wimbledon School of English is widely known as the UK’s leading English language school. We have been ranked number one out of all British Council accredited language centres (from British Council inspection results) every year since 2014.
We offer a wide range of English courses and flexible delivery options including online flexible training courses, live online and school-based options for both our part-time evening courses and our full-time courses. We have courses for every need including teacher-training, pre-sessional, university preparation, specialist programmes for professionals such as doctors, nurses and lawyers, examinations such as IELTS and Cambridge, exciting programmes for juniors or general English language improvement. We also offer the full range of English language examinations including IELTS, Cambridge, LanguageCert, OET (for health professionals), & TEA (for pilots), all taught by our highly qualified & experienced trainers. All courses include free access to a wealth of additional material on e-wimbledon, our free online learning platform.
WSE has been here for over 55 years and is one of the oldest EFL schools in the UK. We’re in a beautiful building with a large garden right in the centre of Wimbledon, 3 minutes from the station & only 20 minutes from Central London.
