Course description
Cake Decorating Skills:
In this course, you will learn how to fill, stack, crumb-coat (butter-cream) and cover a cake with soft, rounded edges. You will learn how to colour and treat/strengthen your sugarpaste/fondant to create the perfect sugar medium to create hand-made decorations. You will work on hands-on, practical projects while developing a familiarity with a broad range of products.
By the end of the course I should be able to: Improve your royal icing techniques and more; Improve your buttercream techniques; Improve your embellishments such as over-piping, moulds and lace; Improve your decorative biscuits; How to make run-outs, piped pearls and shells, drop lines, piped flowers.
