Course description
This course is intended to improve students’ knowledge of customs and practices in the UK. Sessions with a range of activities will help students understand: Health topics such as: talking to the doctor, making an appointment and going into hospital. Everyday activities such as: festivals, celebrations and festivals and food from around the world. Employability topics such as: A job interview, looking for work and different type of Jobs.
By the end of the course I should be able to: Develop vocabulary related to festivals and celebrations; Learn and practice vocabulary for describing festivals; Understand and respond appropriately to specific job interview questions; Understanding medicine labels; Expand vocabulary related to work.
