At York Teaching Hospitals we are very excited to be working with local training providers to be able to offer a variety of new developmental and trainee positions in line with the vast array of healthcare specific apprenticeship standards which are now available.

Apprentices and trainees working with us will be given a full contract of employment with the Trust for the length of their qualification; therefore they will be entitled to the same terms and conditions (including annual leave entitlement) as all other Trust employees. We take great pride in training the highest quality staff to provide the best patient experience possible, so every effort will be made to work closely with our apprentices to ensure that there are onward career prospects with us after the completion of the qualification.
