Mental Health Awareness - Level 2 Certificate (RQF) Course
The Mental Health Awareness – Level 2 Certificate (RQF) Course is designed to be studied by a broad spectrum of health care workers who would benefit from a greater understanding of Mental Health Awareness issues. It is equally suitable for the personal development of experienced health care workers or for those new to the industry.
The course includes topics son such issues as understanding mental health, stress, phobias, anxiety, eating disorders, post-natal depression and schizophrenia and will lead to a fully recognised RQF (Regulated Qualifications Framework) qualification in this subject. These are nationally recognised qualifications that are superseding the old NVQ framework qualifications.

Prerequisites
No prior knowledge is necessary to study the course, although a desire to start your own successful business and a sound educational background or previous business experience would be an advantage. The hardware and software requirements include:
- Intel or equivalent processor;
- 2mb RAM;
- 5mb available disk storage;
- An Internet connection;
- Windows or MacOS operating system;
- Google Chrome browser;
- Microsoft Office or equivalent (Word and Excel).

You will receive access to the course materials through an online portal for a 12-month period. Students can use the portal for accessing their course materials, submitting assignments and to log tutor questions.
Please Note: An optional hard-copy version of the course notes can be purchased for an additional £48.00. This is useful for learners who also want to study away from the computer and means they have course notes they can keep and refer back to beyond their online course license.
Delivery of the hard-copy materials is usually within 5 to 10 working days by a recorded delivery service.
