The CIPS Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply Operations is designed for those who are taking the first steps in a buying or procurement career, covering the fundamental concepts and processes that characterise this important discipline.
Intended for students with little experience and/or no formal qualifications in the sector, this distance learning course helps them develop the knowledge and skills to approach complex procurement actitivities and issues, as well as work with a number of different procurement procedures. The programme covers 5 compulsory units covering Procurement and Supply Environments, Operations, Workflows and Relationships, as well as Inventory and Logistics Operations.
Achieving the Level 3 Advanced Certificate provides interested candidates with a basis from which they can progress on to higher-level CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) qualifications.

Assessment & Qualification
Students must sit a three-hour written exam for each of the five units at an approved CIPS centre.
