Institute of Export (IoE) Level 3 Certificate in International Trade - distance learning course in global trade
The Institute of Export (IoE) Level 3 Certificate in International Trade is a foundation course designed help those working in international trade to broaden their knowledge of global trade issues and gain a clear overview of the practical issues related to international trade operations.
This distance learning course covers four compulsory units:
- Fundamentals of International Business
- Introduction to International Trade Management
- The Global Marketplace
- International Transport and Documentation
By the end of the training, delegates will have developed a solid understanding of how international trade works in order to take their first steps in an international trade career. Achieving the Level 3 Certificate will also qualify them to move on to more advanced international trade qualifications, beginning with the Advanced Certificate in International Trade.

Suitability - Who should attend?
The Institute of Export (IoE) Level 3 Certificate in International Trade is designed for newcomers to international trade who wish to gain an introductory knowledge of global trade issues and processes.
Outcome / Qualification etc.
The course is assessed via continual assessments, which are carried out by the Institute three times a year in April, August and December. Students receive assessment questions directly from the Institute and submit two 1500 word essays per module over a 6-week period.
Successful candidates are awarded the Institute of Export (IoE) Level 3 Certificate in International Trade.
