The course is delivered online, giving learners access to a range of web-based resources including comprehensive course materials and unlimited tutor support. The programme comprises two mandatory units focusing on the following core areas:
- International Trade & Freight
- Ports & Shipping
The focus is then expanded with a further two units in supply chain and the movement of goods.
The programme is highly flexible, allowing students to complete the qualification at their own pace through a combination of study, assessments and evidence of previous experience, where applicable.

Assessment & Qualification
There are no examinations for these qualifications.
Students are required to complete a number of assignments throughout the course, as well as submit evidence of previous experience/qualifications if applicable.
At the end of the programme, they will be awarded the IoSCM Level 2 Certificate in Shipping, Imports & Exports.
