Level 2: The UK Energy Industry and Energy Costs
This online course provides an overview of the roles and responsibilities of stakeholders in a deregulated energy network (using the UK as an example of a modern energy industry). On this course, you will learn how to make an informed decision on the best energy supply contract for your organisation and how to undertake accurate bill validation. The course also covers the fundamentals of Demand Side Management and the implications on electricity costs.

Suitability - Who should attend?
This course recommended for those with 1-2 years' experience in energy management. Although there are no official prerequisites, it is recommended that you have at least A level maths or equivalent.

Successful completion of this course results in the EI Level 2 Certificate in The UK energy industry and energy costs.
This course also forms one of the modules of the EI's longer Level 2: Energy Management Professional course and qualification.
