SAFEGUARDING ADULTS
COURSE OUTLINE
This course is designed to give anyone connected with the housing, care and support sectors an introduction to safeguarding adults they may support. The training covers the responsibilities under UK law and policies and procedures for ensuring safety of vulnerable people.
On completion of the safeguarding adults course, you will understand:
· The policies, procedures and practices for safe working with vulnerable adults.
· How to respond to evidence or concerns that a vulnerable adult has been abused or harmed.
· How to work in a person-centred manner towards your clients.
· How to obtain further support for your clients.
