BIOLOGY GCSE ADULT EVENING PROGRAMME: This evening course is designed to accommodate you if you wish to obtain a general certificate in Foundation GCSE Science and you are working during the day. The maximum grade achievable is a C e AQA GCSE (4405 specification A, Route 1) Core Science course involves three units of study:- The Physics unit centres upon heat and energy, electricity, waves, radioactivity and the universe;- The Biology unit develops ideas about keeping healthy and body changes. It moves on to drug use and abuse, habitats and variations in species, it also deals with the impact of humans on the environment;- The Chemistry unit examines rocks, fuels, polymers plant oils, the earth and its atmosphere.

Suitability - Who should attend?
You will require a grade D at GCSE Science / Additional Science in order to be enrolled on to this course, otherwise you will be considered upon your individual merits.
