This 1 day Emergency first aid at work (EFAW) training course will enable you to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work.
This course is designed for low-risk workplaces such as retail, office or less than 50 employees.

- The role of the first aider
- First aid kits and equipment
- Preventing cross infection
- Recording accidents and near misses (incidents)
- Assessing emergency situations
- How to administer first aid to a casualty who is unconscious / needs CPR / is choking / wounded or bleeding/ suffering from shock / has minor cuts, bruises or scalds
