Course description
French Improvers: This course aims to extend and consolidate the language skills of students who have recently completed a Beginners course at Imperial College or elsewhere or who have studied French at school some years ago (GCSE / O’ Level standard) and feel they need to brush up their knowledge of basics whilst gaining confidence in speaking.
The focus of the course will be on developing conversational French and reviewing grammatical structures in a practical manner. The practice of reading, listening, writing and speaking will be combined with the introduction of cultural topics.
By the end of the course, students should be able to interact in French in a simple way in a variety of everyday situations reaching a lower intermediate level (A1+ CEFR).
