Business Law - PGCert
- Duration: 9 months

- The PGCert requires the successful completion of 60 credits
Business Law - PGDip
- Duration:18 months
- Start dates: 23rd October 2023
- Modules: 1 to 7
- The PGDip requires the successful completion of 120 credits
Business Law - LLM
- Duration: 26 months
- Start dates: 23rd October 2023
- Modules: all 8 modules
- The LLM requires the successful completion of 180 credits

By completing this course, you will be able to...
- Demonstrate a critical awareness of the impact and influence policy has and continues to have, on professional practice within international business law
- Apply major theories and concepts to their studies
- Reflect on their critical appreciation and apply knowledge to practice in the areas of international business law including, dispute resolution, company law, intellectual property, EU competition, and private international law
- Demonstrate the skills necessary to plan, conduct and report on a research project by independently engaging with the subject literature and theory, analysing and assessing it to support critical and normative judgments, and developing a structured argument
- Identify a range of research strategies and methods, and reflexively assess the merits of each
- Understand and show sensitivity to diversity issues and competing interests to identify and take account of normative and moral positions within international business law
- Recognise the relevance of the study in the international business law field
- Using ICT to identify, access, and select effective information collection methods and use the most appropriate analytical tools including the application of numerical skills to cases involving a quantitative dimension
- Articulate arguments and conclusions based on evidence that are subject to a well-developed critical appraisal and imaginative judgment
Course delivery details
- To successfully complete the course, you must pass each module.
- The course is assessed entirely by coursework, which will require to be submitted online.
- Module assessments will incorporate avariety of summative and formative submissions including reports, essays, presentations, and research assignments.
- You will also be expected to participate in the virtual learning environment with tutors and fellow students.
- There will be no examinations requiring attendance at a venue.
