The NEBOSH Certificate-level qualifications provide an excellent foundation in health and safety for managers, supervisors and people starting out on a career in health and safety. No previous health and safety qualifications are needed.

Training Course Content
The qualification is divided into three units, each of which is assessed separately:
- Management of Health and Safety (NGC1 – Two-Hour Written Examination)
- Controlling Workplace Hazards (NGC2 - Two-Hour Written Examination)
- Health and Safety Practical Application (NGC3 – Two-Hour Practical Examination)
It covers the main legal requirements for safety in the UK, a range of workplace hazards, and methods of control.
