Course description

Environmental Conservation Intermediate Apprenticeship (Level 2): This course can help you gain work-based specialist skills and experience in Environmental Conservation. There are many units of study which will develop your practical and professional skills. Topics include monitoring and maintaining health & safety,maintaining environmental good practice, preparing & conducting field surveys, maintaining equipment & machines, habitat establishment & management and constructing & maintaining paths and boundaries. You need to be working full or part-time in theindustry, in order to gain the practical experience required to complete the course. Assessment is through completion of a portfolio of work, including practical observations and written work.
