Safeguarding in a Learning Environment Level 1 Award: The qualification provides you with the relevant knowledge, guidance, support and understanding. You learn to provide a safe and secure learning environment that promotes health and wellbeing. This will enable learners and their peers to take responsibility for their own and others� safety and be able to enjoy learning and progress in their lives. You will learn about the need for safeguarding, staying safe, personal boundaries and recognising abuse.
