- Section 1: At Your DeskThis section gives learners information on how to set up their chair and desk to prevent repetitive strain injury, eye strain and back problems.
- Section 2: On Your DeskThis segment covers the layout of work desks and the best way to arrange your workstation to avoid injury and strain.
- Section 3: EnvironmentThis section gives an understanding of lighting, temperature, glare and noise and the best environment to prevent glare, eye strain and other problems that can occur from poor workstation set up.
- Section 4: Portable DevicesA quick guide on how to work on portable devices, like laptops, whilst maintaining safe work posture to prevent injury.
- Section 5: ExercisesContains gentle exercises that can be done at your desk to prevent RSI and other injuries.
- Section 6: Risk AssessmentThis is a list of requirements and questions for each delegate to answer regarding their desk/workstation and chair setup. It enables the delegate to communicate any problems they have over their work station and the environment and to comply withlegislation.
- Test: This is a multiple choice test that demonstrates that the candidate has gained the knowledge and skills they need to set up their workstations and to work safely.
