Unleash Your Creative Flair
Designed for those who have a natural passion for creativity, this Skills Bootcamp is here to support learners through the fundamentals of Adobe Creative Cloud, giving you the tools to create stunning digital or printed material.
After completion of this training, you will be confident creating flyers, business cards, videos, graphics and enhancing your existing material. Our Skills Bootcamps are funded by the Department For Education, for businesses and individuals in the Cheshire/Warrington or Liverpool City Region to help up-skill in vital Digital areas. Training is FREE for unemployed/self-employed individuals and is 90% or 70% funded for existing business staff, subject to eligibility.
Suitability - Who should attend?
Elegibility
For Self-Employed - FREE
- Business must be based within the Liverpool City Region or Cheshire/Warrington.
- Attendee must be looking to gain new skills for new business opportunities.
- Attendee must be willing to provide an action plan of how training will be used.
- Have the right to work in the UK/have a National Insurance Number.
- Been a UK resident for at least 3 years or meet certain refugee status.
- Haven't attended another Skills Bootcamp recently.
- Must be aged 19+.
- Must be able to attend all training days.
If Employed - 90% funded for SME’s and 70% funded if over 250 employees
- Workplace must be located within the Liverpool City Region or Cheshire/Warrington.
- Attendee must be looking to re-skill or significantly develop their current role.
- Have the right to work in the UK/have a National Insurance Number.
- Haven't attend another Skills Bootcamp recently.
- Been a UK resident for at least 3 years or meet certain refugee status.
- Must be aged 19+
- Your role/responsibilities must change as a result of training to incorporate skills.
- Must be able to attend all training days.
If Unemployed - FREE
- Must be based within Liverpool City Region or Cheshire/Warrington.
- Must be looking to return to work in a career that utilises the skills learnt.
- Have the right to work in the UK/have a National Insurance Number.
- Been a UK resident for a minimum of 3 years (certain refugee status are acceptable).
- Must be aged 19+.
- Must be able to attend all training days.
Training Course Content
Design Theory - Session 1
Design is subjective, or is it? During this 1 day ‘Digital Design Theory’ masterclass you will learn to recognise the core ingredients of what makes a truly great design. To kick-start your journey as a designer you will learn the top Do’s and Don’ts of designing material that stands out from the crowd.
Whether it’s developing a newsletter, e-shot, social media/web, flyer or business card this course will teach you the fundamentals that tie all of them together and show you how to create material that has a lasting effect on your intended audience.
Photoshop - Session 2 & 3
This is critical tool for designers, web developers, graphic artists, photographers, and creative professionals. It is widely used for image editing, retouching, creating image compositions, website mock-ups, and adding affects. Learn how to manipulate photos and graphic files to use on social media platforms, web, or any form of document.
Illustrator - Session 4 & 5
Illustrator allows you to create everything from web and mobile graphics to logos, icons, book illustrations, product packaging and billboards. Learn how to plan using tools such as Illustrator to create storyboards, user flows, logos and process flows to communicate and design ideas.
InDesign - Session 6 & 7
Create beautiful graphic designs with typography from the world’s top foundries and imagery from Adobe Stock. Quickly share content and feedback in PDF. Easily manage production with Adobe Experience Manager. InDesign has everything you need to create stunning marketing materials including brochures, publish books, digital magazines, eBooks, newsletters, posters, and interactive PDFs.
Premiere Pro - Session 8 & 9
This exciting tool that allows you to edit videos, shoot and capture great video assets, create cuts-only videos, add video transitions, and create dynamic titles. Aimed at those looking to learn how to edit video more quickly, integrate video with other Adobe products, and work in a digital format that can be re-purposed for multiple uses.
