Course description
Modern Upholstery Five Day Intensive:
In this five day intensive class students will learn what they need to know to complete the reupholstery of a modern chair. What they will learn will depend on what project they bring to the class, but might include pattern making, working with foams, and sewing machine skills. Projects should be chairs made since 1945. The tutor for this class, Sharon Hennessy, is a professional upholsterer with many years experience of both practice and teaching.
