Course description
This programme will help you develop the academic and linguistic skills required for degree level study. They will also provide you with a basic introduction to the key principles of business or law, to enable you to study these disciplines with confidence.
Students who achieve the following grades will be able to progress to a:
- Three year BA (Hons) Business Degree or three year BSc (Hons) Business Degree at The University of Law: 50% overall grade and 55% in the English module, in the International Foundation Programme - Business
- Three year LLB (Hons) Law Degree or LLB (Hons) Law with Business, Criminology, International Business, Government and Politics: 50% overall grade and 60% in the English module in the International Foundation Programme - Law
The International Foundation Programmes are available at our London Bloomsbury campus. Upon successful completion of this programme you can choose to continue your studies at a number of other campuses located throughout the UK. Please see individual course information for more information.

COURSE STRUCTURE
This one year course is made up of two semesters consisting of 12 teaching weeks, with one week induction. Students will attend three modules per semester, for each module there will be 6 contact hours per week, making the weekly face-to-face tuition 18 hours in total.
ASSESSMENT
A balanced mixture of coursework, in-class tests and formal examinations will be used to assess and evaluate each student’s progress throughout this programme. Students will be encouraged to work both independently and in teams in order to be fully prepared for their future academic journey and develop the skills required both for individual research and team work.
