Course description
This two day course will provide delegates with an overview of echocardiographic techniques in the horse, including practical sessions in echocardiography. The second day will concentrate on image interpretation, using standardised measurement techniques. Finally, delegates will be invited to contribute to case discussions over the following six months, where case material will be available for interpretation, and then discussion in monthly 'rounds' online.
At the end of the course delegates will be able to select appropriate cases for echocardiology, perform an echocardiographic examination, critique and optimise image quality, measure images and interpret these findings.
Each part of the course (day one, day two, online rounds) stand alone and can either be attended as a group or individually.
