This unit covers the Computerised accounting section for either the AAT ‘Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping’ or the ‘Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Accounting’ for which you will receive a comprehensive workbook containing lessons, examples and activities. We provide Sage 50 Professional software for the duration of your studies within this unit. Your allocated tutor will be on hand to answer any questions and guide you through the learning process. Extra lessons, examples and tests are available, along with comprehensive exam preparation and practice, ensuring you are confident and fully prepared for the exams. Using Accounting Software (UACS)

For this unit you will be required to use your knowledge of bookkeeping and double entry to enter a company’s data into a computerised accounting system.

We base this unit on using Sage 50 Professional software. This is the most popular choice in the industry and is used extensively by employers and accountancy practices. The fundamentals of data entry are covered within this unit but as this is a work entry level we also offer the Sage 50 Professional courses and certificate as an inclusive option. This has proven to be our most popular choice over the years as it provides more employment opportunities.
