Course description
This course is designed for graduate level entrants who wish to specialise in - or develop their ability to provide - training or education related to dementia. It will be of particular interest to those with a responsibility for delivering Dementia Awareness training, or other in-service/induction training related to dementia, either within care organisation or through the Further Education sector.
In addition to the skills and awarness gained from the PgDip, the MSc programme will enable you to complete a practice based project on a subject relevant to your own field of dementia training or educational practice. In the process you will gain important skills in constructing sound arguments and demonstrating familiarity with relevant theory, literature and evidence to support your practice as an educator as well as practice based skills through conducting the project work.
