Course description
This 1-year intensive evening course will enable you to work as a beauty therapist in the popular beauty industry. You will study body massage, electrical body treatments with diet and exercise advice, advanced electrical facial treatments, client handling and related anatomy.
The course is held on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6-9pm in our professional beauty salons.
Suitability - Who should attend?
A Level 2 qualification in beauty therapy, such as the VTCT Diploma or NVQ Level 2. A good educational background and good written English are essential. You must be highly motivated and able to practice your treatments at home. We recommend that you spend at least 6 hours of home study per week in order to successfully achieve this qualification.

Training Course Content
You will study:
- Body massage
- Electrical body treatments
- Indian head massage
- Hot stones massage
- Microdermabrasion (face and body)
- Advanced electrical facial treatments
- Client care, health and safety and related anatomy.
Course delivery details
You will be continually assessed throughout the year through written and practical assessments, plus online test papers.
Continuing Studies
Work as a beauty therapist in a salon, become self-employed or take further specialist courses.
