Microsoft Excel Intermediate - In Company
This in-house Excel Intermediate course is designed to give delegates the ability to analyse data in a variety of ways.
- By the end of the course, delegates will be able to use full advantage of a greater range of available Excel functions in their roles in order to produce more effective spreadsheets for your organisation.
- This Excel Intermediate course is a great course for a group of individuals that have the basic knowledge of Excel and can navigate around spreadsheets but would benefit from learning functions and tools such as IF Statements and VLOOKUPS to help them in their roles.
Instructor-led
- Keys Training® courses are taught by our experienced Microsoft Certified Trainers. They will ensure that skills and techniques are at the correct pace for the attendees and will show how Excel features can be applied in their roles.

Suitability - Who should attend?
This course is designed for participants who have completed the Excel Level 1 course or have equivalent knowledge.
Participants should already be able to create formulas, use basic functions such as SUM, MIN, MAX and COUNT and also be aware of the difference between relative and absolute references.

By the end of this course, each attendee will be able to:
- Use more advanced formulas and functions
- Define names for individual cells and ranges
- Use the database tools in Excel
- Work effectively with large spreadsheets

- Filtering data with AutoFilter

- Using data forms to enter, delete and search for data
- Using subtotals to calculate sub sets of data
Formatting
- Hiding columns, rows and formulas
- Grouping columns and rows
- Applying conditional number formatting
