Course description
Our Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care free online course will support those looking to progress within the health and social care sector. You will develop a deeper understanding of the role of a social care worker, the person-centred approach, equality, diversity and safeguarding as well as communication methods and managing your own personal development.
The need for adult social care continues to rise. In 2022/2023, 1.52 million people in England work in the adult social care sector. It is important for those working within the adult care sector to keep up to date and provide the best care for adults. This course will help you gain an understanding of what it is like to work in the care sector.
