The IoSCM (Institute of Supply Chain Management) Level 3 Certificate in the Purchasing Process is designed for experienced supply chain professionals looking to build on their business and leadership skills at a supervisory level.
This distance learning course provides a flexible route to achieving this knowledge, giving students the possibility of working through 3 course units to achieve the Certificate qualification. The first of these focuses on the Purchasing Process, analysing the different market conditions that affect the purchasing function in different contexts. It also explores the importance of sourcing the right suppliers and the legal aspects related to purchasing.
The following two units focus on Supply Chain and Inventory Processes respectively, providing learners with a complementary understanding of supply chain flows and stock management.
Students combine study, assessments and evidence of previous experience (where applicable) to complete the qualification at their own pace.
