Hello all, I would like to know if there is a "high scaler course" in London as I could not find it on your website.

If there is one how long is the course for, how much does it cost and when is the next one on?

Hi Rita,

as far as we know there is no one specific certificate or course that you need to take in order to work as a high scaler. Rather, there are a number of different Construction and Health & Safety courses that, when taken in combination, can help you gain the skills you need in this area.

Of course, if we are talking about working on high buildings then the most important thing will be gaining competence in Working at Height. You can choose courses that focus specifically on this topics, or opt for a broader qualification such as the CITB Accredited Site Managers Safety Training Scheme. The option that is best for you will depend a lot on your current level of experience - a good thing to do may be to look around on job sites for roles that you would be interested in, and look at the requirements that employers ask for so that you know what kind of trianing is most in demand.

You don't need a course, you need experience in the sector since no one will take you seriously even if you have the "right" qualifications if you can't prove that you've done that before then there is no point
