Course description
Students will study 5 subject options to make up the full-time programme. English and maths are mandatory unless they have already been achieved at grade 4 or above.

If you have achieved a grade 4 in English or maths, you can choose to pursue a Level 2 programme in business or a GCSE in any of the three sciences.
Work Experience is also part of this programme.

Suitability - Who should attend?
This is for students who want the opportunity to improve their GCSE grades. You need to have 4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above.
Training Course Content
During the course we will prepare you with the relevant study skills and attributes to ensure you are ready to progress to A Levels, or other Level 3 qualifications, for example BTEC Extended Diplomas, with the aim of progressing to university, employment, or an apprenticeship.
Course delivery details
You will study using a range of techniques including:
- group work
- independent study
- research
- practical activities
- homework
We expect our students to be fully committed to their studies and attend all timetabled lessons, talks, tutorials, and workshops. You will also have a weekly tutorial.
In addition, students can expect to attend trips and visits according to the needs of the individual subjects.
This GCSE is assessed by coursework and a final exam.
