Course description
Do you envisage yourself in a white suit with lots of plastic bags? Are you hooked on CSI Miami or New York? Do you have a logical mind? Are you focussed on finding solutions and working out mathmetical challenges? If so, then a career in forensic science could be right up your street. This course will cover a wide range of scientific disciplines including Biology, Chemistry and Physics. When you have completed this first year successfully, you can go on to join our BTEC Extended Diploma in Applied Science, which can take you to university because the Extended Diploma is equivalent to 3 A Levels. You will need to achieve a distinction in your extended diploma to move on to university.
