Course description
This course is offered in our industry-standard working salon at The Technical Skills Academy. The salon will be open to the public so you will gain valuable real-work experience. You will learn all the essentials needed for your career, such as: - Shampooing and preparation - Mixing treatments and dyes - Treating different types of hair - Health and safety - Reception and customer service duties In addition you will start to explore the process of client consultation. This will lead to practial experience on models and clients, including: - Cutting - Styling - Colouring

You will need at least two GCSEs at grade A* - C or better, and have successfully completed a relevant Level 1 qualification.
