Course description
This course is for students aged 19 or over who do not have an A*- C in GCSE Maths. Our helpful mathematics classes will cover a range of elements including: algebra, formulas, factions, ratios and shape; as well as these essential topics, the course will also encourage students to develop confidence in mathematics and build a positive attitude towards mathematics. The GCSE Maths syllabus can divided into six broad areas, which you will spend time studying in class as well as part of self-directed study: 1. Number 2. Algebra 3. Geometry 4. Measures 5. Statistics 6. Probability

Suitability - Who should attend?
If you already have GCSE grade D or Level 2 Functional Skills certificate in maths, you will be able to enrol on this course. However, we know that many will not have these qualifications, but this will not prevent you from joining our GCSE Adult courses. If you do not have the above qualification, you will sit an Initial Assessment to check if this is the right course for you.
