Course description
Learners will study a Level 1 Diploma in Vocational Studies. Core Units include: Self-Assessment and Career Progression Performing Arts Business, Retail & Public Services Learners will also study Functional Skills in Literacy, Numeracy and ICT In addition to the above, students will have regular Tutorials with their Personal Coach as well as have access to Careers Advice and Guidance. This Programme offers students the opportunity to develop their social skills, gain independence as well as gain a nationally recognised vocational qualification. The Staff will take into account the various ways in which students learn and will plan lessons to encourage students to learning in a variety of ways, including their preferred style.

There are no formal entry requirements. However, students will be asked to attend an interview and complete a short on-line assessment.
