Course description

The changing nature of healthcare and delivery needs a responsive practitioner able to adapt and lead in the provision of high quality, individualised care.

To this end the module has been designed to equip the practitioner with the necessary evidence based knowledge, skill and expertise to manage the specialist needs of the seriously ill child/young person and their family.

What's covered in the course?

This module is aimed predominantly at Graduate Healthcare Practitioners who care for neonates, children or young people within a high dependency setting which may be located within a ward area (Level 1 Critical care (CC) or a designated High Dependency Unit (Level 2 CC).
