Person-Centred Dementia (Level 2)
According to the Alzheimer’s Society (www.Alzheimer’s.org.uk), there are 850,000 people with dementia in the UK, with numbers set to rise to over 1 million by 2025. This will soar to 2 million by 2051. In fact, 225,000 will develop dementia this year, that’s one every three minutes. (Source: BBC)
If you’re involved with a sufferer, you owe it to them and to yourself to study this course. If you have concerns for an elderly friend or relative, it will help you gain a real understanding of the condition.
