JCT Design & Build for Contractors
JCT 2016 Design and Build Contracts are a staple of construction projects where a contractor is responsible for both design and construction. To successfully administer such a contract, the contractor needs to have the skill to manage time, costs and quality while demonstrating an excellent understanding of their contractual obligations under this particular contract form
This comprehensive 1 day course is delivered by an industry practitioner to provide you with detailed knowledge of employer requirements, contractual risks, the rules for valuing changes, and the obligations you are under during contract delays. You will also cover loss and expense recovery, and dispute resolution and avoidance.
Led by a subject expert, you will be taken through a number of scenarios that may arise and be given a thorough grounding of the principles and practices of working with the design and build contract With all this acquired knowledge, you will be confident in your ability to manage a D and B contract, react more effectively to issues as they arrive, and lead projects to a successful conclusion.
