Understand the complex application, interpretation and determination of Fire investigation and explosive deflagrations in the criminal, civil judicial process.
The specific application of fire and explosion investigation skills in real world applications and investigations and understand the applications of materials behaviour, fire dynamics and theoretical approaches to fire investigation, research and academic practices.

What you will learn
On successful completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Comprehensive understanding of the theoretical and analytical techniques and equations utilised within fire science, investigation and fire protection industry.
- Define heat transfer and undertake computational analysis of heat transfer.
- Classify fire science behaviour and undertake mathematical determinations of fire science theories and equations.
- Recognize forensic engineering techniques, materials engineering and other analytical techniques available to the FI.
- Define complex material behaviours within fires and undertake computational analysis of materials
