This online course provides an overview of the transport sector in relation to energy consumption and carbon emissions. On this course, you will learn how to develop and understand an organisation’s transport energy profile, the various calculation methods used to estimate energy consumption and carbon emissions related to transport, the key factors affecting transport energy use and actions that can be taken to improve energy efficiency.
This course is self-paced and can be started at any time.

Suitability - Who should attend?
This course is recommended for those with 1-2 years' experience in energy management. Although there are no official prerequisites, it is recommended that you have at least A level maths or equivalent.

CPD hours: 10
Successful completion of this course results in the EI Level 2 Certificate in Energy management and transport.
This course also forms one of the modules of the EI's longer Level 2: Energy Management Professional course and qualification.
