Learning objectives
For PRINCE2 7 Foundation (delivered over 3 days), candidates require an understanding of:
- Key concepts relating to projects and PRINCE2
- How the PRINCE2 principles underpin the PRINCE2 method
- The PRINCE2 practices and how they are applied throughout the project
- The PRINCE2 processes and how they are carried out throughout the project
The level requires candidates to have fundamental knowledge of the PRINCE2 method and involves passing a one-hour, multiple-choice style exam to achieve the Foundation certificate.
For PRINCE2 Practitioner (delivered over 2 days), candidates must understand how to apply and tailor:
- The PRINCE2 principles in context
- Relevant aspects of PRINCE2 practices in context
- Relevant aspects of PRINCE2 processes in context
The level requires candidates to have comprehensive knowledge of the PRINCE2 method and involves passing a 2-hour, 30-minute multiple-choice style exam to achieve the Practitioner certificate.
Both the Foundation and Practitioner exams are administered by PeopleCert virtually.
Also, note that achieving the PRINCE2 Foundation certificate is the prerequisite to taking the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam.
