Course description
Hertfordshire is home to the majority of the UK's media production. We have strong links with the major film and TV studios, all located within 45 minutes of our campus. In recent years staff and students have worked on major blockbuster movies including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the Harry Potter films.
We provide some of the best facilities in the UK for studying and producing your own creative work. Sharing of resources and expertise across the faculty is encouraged, giving you access to all spaces and equipment.
Stage 1: University Foundation Film, TV & Music Production
For these courses, you will be required to show evidence of previous work through a portfolio or evidence of musical theory.

Progression rule to Stage 2
Minimum 50% pass mark in all modules except ILSC which is 50% with minimum 85% attendance required across all modules.

Suitability - Who should attend?
Academic Requirement : 5 GCSE passes at grade C or 4 (1 semester); 5 GCSE passes at grade D or 3 (2 semesters); 28 new 2017 UCAS points (2 semesters); International Baccalaureate MYP 5 scores grade 5 (1 semester); International Baccalaureate MYP 5 scores grade 4 (2 semesters).
