Spanish Intermediates

This course is suitable for students who have already studied Spanish for about two years, or who have a good basic knowledge of Spanish grammar and vocabulary. You will have the opportunity to develop the four language skills to a higher level and to communicate effectively in Spanish, expressing and justifying your opinions on different topics. The course will be based on interactive and communicative methods and will be taught entirely in Spanish. A variety of activities will be used, including group discussions, reading of slightly longer texts on cultural topics and some listening exercises. Class discussions on a variety of topics will take place on a regular basis and you will be strongly encouraged to participate actively in lessons. Regular homework will be assigned weekly to consolidate what has been learnt in class. By the end of the course you will have been given the opportunity to: narrate a story in the past, express opinions, talk about your free time, give and follow instructions, give suggestions. You will also have learnt some basic grammar.
