IPAF Single Mobile Vertical (3a) Operator: 1-day training course for MEWP operators
This IPAF Single Mobile Vertical (3a) Operator course is designed for professionals who need to prepare and safely operate Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP) belonging to category 3a.
The 1-day course focuses on powered access equipment belonging to category 3a, which includes scissor lifts and vertical personnel platforms. With the goal of enabling participants to achieve their IPAF MEWP Operators Licence, the programme includes:
- Overview of MEWP types and structural parts
- National and international regulations
- Pre-use inspection, safe operating methods & hazards
- Practical training and assessment
The training includes both the theory test and practical assessment that will allow participants to achieve their Powered Access Licence (PAL) Card from the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF).
