On your first morning, you will be welcomed by members of our Home Team, who will help you settle in before the course begins.
Communicate with Impact Program
- Each day will be punctuated with energisers designed to refresh and enliven your concentration and aid learning.
- Everything we do is participative and interactive.
- There will be work in pairs, small group work, games, processes and exercises designed to stimulate, challenge and develop people’s knowledge and skills.
Immersive Experience
- During the week with Impact Factory, we will share some of London’s secrets. These are carefully selected events that will inform the content of the course and stimulate our potential and understanding of communication skills.
- The Communicate with Impact Five-Day course may include:
- London restaurantsHead out to a funky London restaurant for some food and chit-chat.
- West End and London TheatreAttend some live theatre in London to look at how they use communication and structure and what effects it has on the audience.
- Live ComedyGet some laughs at live stand-up comedy, looking at spontaneity and how the audience can help you drive your presentation.
- Art GalleryExplore creativity and design at one of London’s many art galleries.

Day 1
- Raise your awareness of how you make an impact
- Unpick the key elements of how communication works
- Explore how to create clear, compelling messages
- Practising new skills and techniques that will help you make the impact you want
Day 2
- Use the understanding and skills from Day One to become a better influence
- Step up yourand look at overt and covert influencing
- Explore how to influence when you have no direct authority
- Understanding your key stakeholders and seeing things from other people’s points of view
- Develop your ability to motivateandinspire others and gain buy-in
Day 3
- How to deliver tricky messages while maintaining positive relationships
- Identify situations where your communication could have been better and how to address that
- Practise a range of new techniques using Forum Theatre
- How to move things forward using productive feedback
Day 4
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the arenas in which presenting takes place
- Explore what happens in front of an audience and how to manage your nerves
- Reinforce some of the principles of effective presentation
- Develop your ability to engage with audiences and build your confidence
Day 5
- Each delegate will have an in-depth individual coaching session
- Working in small groups, you will consolidate the work of the week
