Course description
Japanese Intermediate: This course aims to develop further the four language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing with an emphasis on oral skills. The course is designed for those who have completed around 120 hours of the language study, or those with equivalent language proficiency.
While the main focus is on conversation, more complex sentence patterns, as well as extensive vocabularies and expressions, will be learnt to reinforce students’ communication skills to deal with various situations.
Students are expected to be able to use Hiragana and Katakana fluently both in writing and reading. Kanji will be taught gradually and systematically as well.
