Course description
Mandarin Improvers: This course is designed for students who have mastered the basic sounds of the language, including the four tones, and who are able to carry out such elementary linguistic tasks as introducing themselves and carrying out a transaction in a shop. Students embarking on this course should also already be thoroughly familiar with the pinyin system of Romanization.
During the course the students will acquire more of the basic sentence patterns of Mandarin, enabling them to converse on a wider range of topics linked to a variety of practical situations often encountered in daily life.
